How much do we really know about the food we eat? We routinely pick up neatly packaged cuts of meat, cartons
of milk, eggs, and other goods at the grocery store, giving little thoughts to their origins. Little do we know
that a dark world of unclean, unethical, and often horrifying production lurks beneath the pristine appearance
of our store-bought food. Actions that we would never knowingly support are being driven by our consumer dollars.
