Lakshimi N. Reddi is Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Kansas State University, Manhattan. The editor, coeditor, author, or coauthor of more than 100 books, book chapters, peer-reviewed journal articles, proceedings papers, and invited lectures, he is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Kansas and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Society for Testing and Materials, the International Society of Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering, among other organizations. Professor Reddi received the B.T. degree (with Distinction) in civil engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, India, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in civil engineering from The Ohio State University, Columbus.
