This text presents two interrelated perspectives of sexual victimization on college campuses. First, it discusses the nature and dimensions of a salient social problem: the sexual victimization of college women. Second, it discusses how scholars have participated in this movement to understand the origins, nature, extent, and ways to prevent the sexual victimization, especially on college campuses.
