  Review

"Weber and Brace have assembled a stellar cast of senior and emerging scholars who provide original research and a comprehensive, enlightening review. This superb text provides recent evidence in a theoretically rich context. Highly recommended for upper-level undergraduates and above."

--D.I. Hodgkin, Bates College, in CHOICE

"Weber and Brace have recruited a dream team of top researchers in their respective [sub]fields to develop readable and focused summaries and analyses. This book fills a niche for which few if any other texts are suited, that of the upper-level undergraduate course in state and local politics."

--Chris Mooney, West Virginia University
