Thomas Packard is an associate professor in the School of Social Work at San Diego State University. Ralph P. Brody taught courses on social service administration at Cleveland State University and also taught service delivery models at Case Western Reserve University. He served as executive director of the Federation for Community Planning. Michael J. Austin is the Milton and Florence Krenz Mack Professor of Nonprofit Management at the School of Social Welfare, University of California, Berkeley, as well as co-chair of Management and Planning Specialization.
